Case Study: Pynchon/Edgewater | Springfield

Pynchon/Edgewater Apartments is a mix of one high-rise building comprising of 364-units known as Edgewater Apartments and 50 townhouse style buildings totaling 250 units named Pynchon Terrace.  The entire complex spans five city blocks next to the scenic Connecticut River in Springfield. Peabody Properties submitted the project to the Program in 2013. Upon acceptance, ABCD conducted an electrical audit and identified over 700 interior and exterior lighting fixtures as cost-effective to replace. Residents received CFL light bulbs and advanced power strips.   Eversource provided 100% of the funding.
